Greetings all.
Not new to bassing but instead returning again. None of the dams i use to fish allow for fishing anymore.
i do have a small boat with sneaker and looking for some bass grounds in and around cape town area.
Looking to go to Reebieck Kasteel next weekend any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Kwaggaskloof and Brandvlei dams just outside Worcester, Theewaterskloof just outside Villiersdorp. Both about hour and 30 min or so out of Cape Town. Then obviously further north is Clanwilliam and Bulshoek (although Bulshoek has been lowered to 30% because of a dam wall issue)
I was in tuckers tackle the other day and there are a few dams up the n1 with good bass

I'm interested if you had any success in or around Riebeeck Kasteel? I am moving there in November and it wil be cool to have a local spot. I have heard that the Voelvlei dam has some nice small mouth bass, but havent tried there yet.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, Voelvlei literally has 1 or 2 Smallmouth at the moment. Probably got washed in thru the canal due to recent heavy rains. Loads of catfish and carp which are currently breeding. A buddy caught 8 catfish and 5 carp on fly yesterday.
