Good evening and hello

I am Jay D Schurz, better known as El Grande. Yes, the same El Grande that is moving product into SA. I took a quick look around and see some familiar faces. I hope to make many new friends on this site and appreciate the opportunity to visit with you folks. I can help with information concerning plastics, both injected and handpoured and I am pretty well versed in rod building as well. I look to learn more about your fisheries from the qualified fisherman on this site. So please pick my brain if you need to as I am not bashful about picking yours.
Fantastic welcome aboard :blue-biggrin: lets all learn a bit more from each other that what this site is all about. Sharing and caring.

Welcome El Grande hope you enjoy your stay here.

Tacklewarehouse has some of El Grandes products if you want to have a look now but he has also made some plastics specifically for SA.
Welcome El Grande

You will definately find this site to be full of info, sharing and characters :blue-biggrin:

I'm the tight-budget-cheap-skate, so if you've got a brochure with a special BFSA membership discount, that will be great and we will be doing lots of business :blue-cool: :blue-lol:
Thanks for the warm welcome. I am 6 hours behind you in time, so it takes me a little while to follow up on posts.
That's cool, some of us are 6 days delayed :blue-lol:

You might want to take the time to work through the forum topics, there's a lot of talk about lures and what works, what doesn't, etc. Might just help your business and give you some new ideas.

Good evening fellas. That Rendalli was a test run. I am doing some modifications to it to lower the wow factor on the red. The problem is the SA population of Tilapia/Kurper have a wide range of colors from age to location where they exist. Rather than make a lure for every dam, the idea needs to be to incoporate the primary colors into the lures so there is a subdued blend. I have listened very closey to the information I have been forwarded from across SA and we are working out the details. I know we cannot please 100% of the fisherman, but if I can please 100% of the bass, the fisherman will be happy.

We are bringing some things to the SA market in the very near future that will both please the discerning SA bass fisherman and at the same time, not make a huge dent in your wallet. I am thick skinned and can take constructive criticsm with a smile, so as these things make it to your store shelves, please give me some honest feedback. I will actually make changes if the situation dictates. I am not physically there (yet) and must rely on you to make things work. I intend on coming over and doing some filming within the next 6-12 months as the US bass fisherman will be very interested in your fisheries. I look forward to working with Shane and the staff of as I hope this is a long term relationship.
