Hi Everyone
I went Bass fishing with Johan and got hooked to the sport real bad. As a kid I used to do carp fishing, but never really liked it - no action.
After the days fishing I discovered our fishing equipment is way outdated and went to buy myself a baitcaster reel, graphide rod and some lures & hooks. I went to Vasfontein on Sunday afternoon and caught 2 beaties.

The best of all is we work together. So now I can tell the wife to be that we are brainstorming wile we fishing. So that way I can get more time fishing :twisted:

Fab, it was surely the beginnig. I am now trying to hook my dad.
I am sure when he pulls out his first bass, I will need to go and help him pick a rod & reel.
I think BM only got it one third right with welcome to the bass fishing addiction....
It is a 3 way addiction.... Bass fishing, BF.co.za and going to tackle shops!!!!! 3 major addictions!!!!!
And beware of the serious side effects of having to go cold turkey for a while..... IT GETS UGLY!!!!!!

Indeed? pity Seadog isn?t coming to the KZN Tour I think he would keep us all entertained? I thought I was a little Looney but Seadog is off the scale! ;-)
Tis true boys, this affliction rules my crazy life. I was kicked in the head by my daddy when i went to lip his PB and it escaped, I got face slapped by the bass's tail and mah pa, bliksemed me with his old Penn 49 sea reel................I still feel his crazy glare while beating me withe the reel.
