8th BFSA Money Trail Results

The 8th and final Money Trail for the first season was held at Theewaterskloof Dam on Sunday the 7th March. The weather predictions for the day were hot with no wind and boy were they spot on the money! Never the less 18 Boats arrived and soon we were all on the water ready to go.

BFSA 5th Money Trail Results

Once again the Money Trail has come and gone all too quickly! On Saturday we hosted the 5th BFSA Money Trail and once again it was a resounding success! The best turnout so far and excellent weather almost all day long. Thank you to everyone for the support and hopefully the next will be bigger and better!

BFSA 3rd Money Trail Results

The third Money Trail has now come and gone and what a day it was! As the clan comp is next weekend we only had 11 boats fishing but saw once again some new faces and missed some others. The day started at 4am for me as I headed to Bergies house. After a long drive and a short nap, we were at the gates of Kwaggas and it was stunning! Not a breath of wind in sight! In a mad hurry we done registration and launched the boats ready to rock and roll.

Well the second Money Trail comp has come and gone and was once again a great success. The numbers where disappointing as some people stayed away to hide in bed for fear of bad weather?? However if you chickened out you missed a excellent day on the water! Wind Guru had predicted no or little wind and they were spot on! The day was perfect with some high level clouds keeping it cool.

Right, getting all set for the Money Trail and what happens.....it's pouring with rain in "De Kaap" on friday ...lots of places around town experienced flooding.... Being concernd the guys were phoning 'is it still on?'.....'Yep', was my reply cos it's gonna clear up (say's he with his fingers crossed)

Bass Fishing South Africa Money Trail competition!

All bass fishermen from around the Cape are invited to take part the latest monthly competition soon to be launched and hosted by Bassfishing.co.za.

Now you can test your skills against the other anglers in your area and have some fun at the same time! The event will be held on a Saturday of every month and the entry fees will go towards the cash prizes for the day event. So the more support we get the more cash will be up for grabs! Prize moneys will be awarded down to 5th place and there will be lucky draws for various other items and prizes.
