BFSA Money Trail results Kwaggaskloof 17 October

This weekend hosted the biggest Money Trail event so far and was as usual a huge success. The field consisted of 21 boats which is our new attendance record. A very big thank you goes out to all the guys and girls who supported us this weekend. It was awesome!

BFSA Money Trail Results - Bulshoek

Well another great weekend has come and gone with another successful BFSA Money Trail. The weekend produced some nice fish for all the anglers and fun was had by all. We headed up on Friday and were very impressed with not only the very cool accommodation but the beauty which is also Bulshoek dam. It truly is stunning.

Cape Water Shortage

It was a dry winter, with less than half the long-term average rainfall recorded in July and last month. The Cape Town weather office said the city received only 40.3mm of rain in July and only 31.4mm in August. The rural areas also didn't get much rain.

BFSA Money Trail 2010/2011 Season Schedule

Now you can test your skills against the other anglers in your area and have some fun at the same time! The event will be held on a Saturday or Sunday of every month and the entry fees will go towards the cash prizes for the day event. So the more support we get the more cash will be up for grabs! Prize moneys will be awarded down to 5th place. In our first season we handed out over R25000 worth of cash prizes! The field is also growing rapidly and promises to be bigger and better every time. All bass fishermen from around the Cape are invited to take part in this latest monthly competition run and hosted by Bassfishing.co.za namely the BFSA Money Trail.

The Winter is upon us and we are happy to announce that we will be hosting our second series of Bass Competitions starting in May 2010 and ending in October 2010. So, get your rods and reels ready and let’s get fishing.

8th BFSA Money Trail Results

The 8th and final Money Trail for the first season was held at Theewaterskloof Dam on Sunday the 7th March. The weather predictions for the day were hot with no wind and boy were they spot on the money! Never the less 18 Boats arrived and soon we were all on the water ready to go.

Friday night, the fires are burning and the beverages are flowing…. Everyone was around the fires having a lekker chat and just enjoying the evening. After lots of laughs, especially after the boxer stole CBC’s chow and see him go night hunting we headed to bed…

BFSA 6th Money Trail Results

The 6th Money Trails has now come and gone and it was bigger and better than ever before! Our biggest field so far with almost 20 boats on the water. The weather was great for most of the day and almost everyone weighed in a good bag…
