Where in the Western Cape can I buy a 18 lb thrust trolling motor for my kick boat.
I don't think my boat's 70 lb thrust will work on a kb

Those are good prices on killerdeals.
I got two of the Watersnake 28pd I use for a project.
http://www.killerdeals.co.za/watersnake-tracer-fwt30-freshwater-p-3702.html
Bought them 3 years ago for R900, on killerdeals they are R1000.
I'd rather go for that than the 18pd you looking for (no speed control on the 18pd). You don't need the speed, but the torque at lower speed. Gives you more control. Like cutting through the submerged plants on the Breede
My 2 cents.

Whats wrong with a 72lb on a kickboat. Youll have a rooster tail and be first on all the spots.

If Breedesmallie is interested and I somehow can get the motor (I'm in Somerset West), I'll gladly have a look what's wrong.
