Nothing wrong with a splash. I won a classic off one. Awesome awesome boats. I had a 70hp bigfoot on the back and it was flying!!

The person you fish with are large chappies or twiggies it will have an affect getting water into the front of the boat in a choppy dam. Remember you normally sit in the front on a bass boat using the trolling motor. The two biggest pluses are that it is very economical to run and you don't need a serious towing vehicle.
