Major bummer today? we had left over pizza, sausage rolls, samoosas and other stuff left over from last night and we left it in the fridge at home! Thanks heavens Richard brought some hot dogs with otherwise we would have starved to death on the dam!

If I leave early in the morning, I normally have zarms, coffee in a flask, and 2 beers packed and ready to go. If I am fishing in the afternoon, the chow consists of a snack and couple of cans of coke.

the number of boats at the classic was around 360 and that would have an impact with all the other stuff... Not talking about the p...g, but more of the bottles, cans, chip and biscuit packets and line etc etc..... TAKE IT ALL HOME!!!!!

I must admit the menu at RDW has improved 300%. The garage we stop at on the way has introduced a wollies shop as it's quickshop and it is open 24 x 7.

I normall like to be prepared the night before I leave so the food and drinks are on one shelf of the fridge and easy to pack in the wee hours :lol:

The night before my rig is hitched, fueled and sitting in the driveway ready to pull out in the morning. It is a mission to take covers off and pack cooler boxes in the wee hrs. I find it much easier to buy food, drink and ice as close to the destination as possiable, store it in a cooler box in the car until the boat is ready on the water then I just transfer them onto the boat.
