I know that things are changing at Poortjieskloof in the near future,

Has anybody been to Poortjieskloof recently, I have tried calling Ronel, but there is no answer and I don't really want to drive all the way there to find out there is no access

Hi Mick, as far as I know Poortjies is still open for the public till end of June. From July it's closed for the public.What a shame and something we can't do anything about.Nobody can stop you from fishing the dam but to get there you must enter through private property and that is the problem. As I understood the story is that the new owner will not allow the public entrance via his property :blue-mad: :blue-mad: :blue-mad:
