I am also thinking of making the 3hr trek there on Saturday but I'm now concerned that I'll have my car damaged or tyres deflated (I'm probably being melodramatic though).

It's ironic that I chose not to join SABAA because I don't have all the time in the world to fish and want to be free to fish wherever and whenever I want but am now being peer-pressured into staying away from the only fishable water available to me at this time of year 5 days BEFORE a comp kicks off.

It's a 22km long dam for bloody hell's sake. Four or five weekend warriors are going to make no difference.

And no, I do not want to fish Bulshoek, TWK, KWK or Mofam. I'm going to stamp my feet and hold my breath until I get to fish Clan. :blue-redface: :blue-redface:

Hope you feet doesn't hurt and that you're not out of breath by now.

Other public venues like Inanda was closed for Nationals. Although we have the open channels to request the same for Clan we did not. We thought we could settle this like grown men showing the necessary respect for each other.

Please do what you want. I don't recall anyone in this post telling anyone that you are prohibited from going. It was a respectful request. Every action has a reaction.

Even the Money Trail has cut-off periods and the WCBAA boys not participating respect that.

True that guys, this thread has been very civil and no-one is peer pressurizing anyone. Those not bound by the rules may fish where they like and the word respect has been mentioned many times. The choice is yours in the end.
