I like that fact that the datetime stamp on the Latest Forum Replies now also work correctly - it make it easier to check what is new since your last visit :blue-biggrin:

Hi Guys

Just a little tip and it's not only for our site but for most sites these days. Technologies are changing and surfing the web also changes but in ways you dont see.

Basicaly my point is that it is very important to have the latest browsers so that everything works correctly when surfing the web. It is a fairly easy process to upgrade your browser and costs nothing... I prefer Firefox but you can use what you want. Below are some links to the latests browser downloads... hope it helps.

FireFox

And if you are into forums and Facebook then Rockmelt (which is a Chrome derivative) is awesome!

I'm currently browsing the site with my ipad2, it needs a couple of tweaks to fine tune compatibility but looks good for the most part.

Adding images into forum posts

Hey guys and girls it's now much easier to embed an image from the gallery into a forum post. Step 1 is to upload your image (of course) which is also easy, just click the "gallery" link in your user profile and upload the image to whichever gallery is most suitable.

Step 1
Once you've done that go to the image which will show up immediately in the "latest gallery images" on the right of the page, highlight the embed code in the box, right click with your mouse and click "copy"....

Step 2
Go to the forum post where you want to embed the image, click on the spot where you want it to appear and click "paste", the image will automatically display when you submit the forum post....

And please use the photo size 800x600 because that fits the best...

Rob it should automatically resize the images to fit the forum width, let me know if it's not doing so in some browsers, getting it compatible with older browsers is a bit of a nightmare, feedback is really helpful in getting this right. But you are right, resizing the images before uploading them is best, large images take much longer to upload and to display.

I'm having problem with Rockmelt then because some of the pics appear too big and the right hand side is missing off my screen.
