In Firefox it is not using the full screen width and is squashing it in a coloumn in the centre.

Here is a link to an online image resizing service that I always recommend to our clients: http://www.online-image-editor.com/ it's very easy to use and does the job without having to know anything about image editing and without the expense of purchasing the software.

In Safari it also squashes it into a column like Firefox but instead of in the centre it moves it to the left.

The forum images are sized to 450 pixels wide, I think the difference between Firefox and IE is browser compatibility related but thanks for that, I've passed it onto the dev team.

Safari... what can I say, Apple HAS to do things differently to everybody else :blue-evil: I use an iPad a lot so have noticed that there are quite a few issues, especially in the forum, it should be sorted by the end of the day.

Facebook "like" button

You might have noticed that there is a Facebook "like" button at the top of the right column, just below the site search. Please don't be shy to "like" any page that you happen to be visiting, it all contributes to the popularity of our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/Bass.Fishing.South.Africa and ultimately helps improve the position of BFSA on Google.

We have over 1200 members and only 29 "likes", at the time of writing this post, on our home page :blue-shock:

Hiya Vincent, send me a banner 642px × 82px or a button 148px × 100px and I'm sure that BM won't mind us putting it up in view of all the help you've given us with August's branding.

Anybody else want to advertise their business get in touch with us or complete the form here: http://www.bassfishing.co.za/advertise/

Hi BA and BM. I am not much of a web designer but don't you guys think standardizing on the type of font and font size would give the site a crisper and cleaner look and feel.

Also the emoticons and some of the buttons appear slightly out of focus. Almost like the were saved at too low a resolution. A bit like my avatar... :blue-biggrin:

You guys did an amazing job. Working in the IT industry myself makes me appreciate the pain you have to go through to make a website work on all the standard an not so standard browsers and then on top of that all the different versions of browsers out there!

Keep up the good work. I still stuggle to believe that we get all this without paying of any of it! I hope you all the advertising the site and all the hits on it deserves!
Regards

The site is looking awesome guys, all the blood sweat and tears has payed off.

This is just a bit of feed back on what I have noticed for the benefit of the site as I'm sure there is a small bit of tweaking to do.

Gallery: It would be nice if we could add weight, lure used, location, time of day, ect. It would also be nice if there was a next image button as you can only view the thumb nails on that page.

When you click on the bassfishing.co.za logo or banner at the top of the page it use to take you to the latest forum relies. You could see author, how many have viewed it ect. that is now gone and you get a 404 error.

Latest forum replies dates are correct but the actual post in the forum time is incorrect which is not a big issues for me.

Hiya Jeremy, thanks for the feedback, it's exactly the type of thing we are hoping to hear back from members.

Gallery - you can enter details about the photo in the description field when uploading an image. We thought it would be more flexible that way than having fixed fields, but what do our users think? It's very easy to change the current method if the feedback is that a more fixed system is preferred, what do you guys say, let us know?

I prefer the fix field option as it encourages more info rather that just Kwagga's Piggie.

I do the same as we are creatures of habit and pretty lazy creatures at that. Next, previous tabs would also help navigating the gallery.

This is the page with a 404 error page not found and was my first stop on the old site.
