I would also like to treat fish with this disease. Better to treat it than kill it. Especially if its a big fish.

hey guys.

where can I go to find an update on the spread and treatment of EUS? Is it still a major problem for our fisheries?

For an update I would make contact with the SAIAB in Grahamstown. Have you looked at their site to see what current studies have been undertaken in this regard? Perhaps send them a mail and then report back here if you can.

Hi Riprap,

You heard correct. About 2 or 3 months ago there were a few suspected cases reported. Marc then asked the KBT guys to take photos of fish with sores and send to him for him to pass on to Olaf.
I saw on facebook that the Purefishing guys (James, Vincent and Dexter) were on Clan and were taking samples of some kind.
