Hi Guys, made a trip to Settlers Dam this weekend and it is looking good. The water has settled and the clarity is pretty good. Main motor wouldnt start so we made do with the trolling motor around the slipway area. We took +/- 30 fish for the day of wich 1 was just under a kilo, two were 1.6-1.8 and the rest were dinks.

Was really nice to takea few decent fish though so no complaints.

Cheers

Ian

My folks are down there, I should go visit them, so maybe worth while if I take my rods... :blue-badgrin:

Absolutely, its a great dam and if you have a boat there is a proper concrete slip to launch. A boat is actually a must bacause the banks are too steep to walk around and most of the shoreline is private property.
