Hi Ladies and Gents,

I have a brand new Humminbird 360 degree imaging unit from the USA, which I am selling.

Here is a link to a couple of You Tube clips indicating what this incredible accessory allows you to do:

The item retails at Tackle Warehouse in the USA for $1999.99. I am selling it for R23000 neg.

Anybody interested, just let me know.

Happy fishing all !!

Why you selling so soon?

Also does it come with a unit (screen) or is it just the accessory? In which case one would have to already have a Humminbird Side Scan fish finder to run it.

Welcome to the site Sven or is it Seven?

How about telling us a bit about yourself, always a good idea to do that first before entering with a sale.

I'm sure you will enjoy the site and its great bunch of members.

Howsit Bassmar and Ninja,

Apologies firstly to you and others who feel the same Ninja. Most people call me Seven, in fishing. I joined the forum quite a while back and, although going on it and reading interesting posts over the course of the last few years, I am not a huge pc oke as the folks who know me are aware of.

Over the years I have made loads of friends in South Africa in bassfishing, but you are quite correct Ninja, this is a forum firstly and secondly there are many fishermen out there which we have not met as yet.

Thanks for welcoming me to the forum, I look forward to chatting to the guys/gals and meeting new people here.

Here is a bit about myself. I grew up in Natal and my first club was Natal Midlands in 1997 as a junior. I was at school in Maritzburg College, but spent most of my time down the road at Girls High perfecting my patterning techniques, which I thought would benefit my fishing performance!! I joined the Airforce and became a chopper pilot ( 15 SQN Durban ), which I still do nowadays for a living around the world on contract having left the SAAF.

In Natal I have been a member of Natal Midlands BM and Coastal BM. After relocating to Cape Town I was with Helderberg BM and presently am with Tafelberg BM (WP) in Cape Town. So I cut my bassfishing teeth in Natal and was lucky enough to get Natal Honorary colours ( before BEE stuff ), Natal Coastal colours, my Midlands jacket (not easy!!). Also got my Boland, Western Province, Presidents and Protea colours. That's kind of my fishing background and I'd say the highlight of my fishing has been the friends I've made and the Albert Falls 1997 Bass Tournament + after party with J+B van Zuydam,K.Crosby, Z and E Potgieter and the rest of the gang. Good times:-))!!

So that's a bit of my story there bud..and forum members...Hi

Bassmar, Hi, the reason I am selling is I am going to be fishing in the States for a little while during my time-off periods from work. So its pointless bombing this accessory on my boat in Cape Town ( which I also will sell ) as I will be getting a boat in the US. Its kind of a favour to anyone who wants to buy it as its a hellova thing to import , and the price I am asking is what I paid for the item + excess baggage fees at the time.
I personally think it looks like a great tool to be able to see structure ahead of the boat, for pre-fishing too ( although I have not used it yet but will ). It is an accessory to the Humminbird 1198cx SI Combo, 998cx SI Combo ,898cx SI Combo and 798cxi HD SI Combo units.

Have a great week everyone.
