I'm looking for the location of a farm called De Doorns in the Western Cape. Any ideas?

Thx Rip. I'll give it a try. I was fishing at Eikenhof yesterday during a triathlon. One of the competitors running past shouted to me "come to my farm, (puff puff pant), plenty bass,( puff pant gasp), De Doorns" and dissappeared up the trail. True story. :blue-surprised:

He could have meant the farm Valley North of Worcester. If so it's a big place.

I know, I was hoping he meant the farm name was De Doorns or De Doorn. Going to have to do some P I work here. Didn't get the farmer's name or entry number. Going to follow up with event organisers too. He must have registered.

You should have got his number plate :eusa_angel: they you cvould have tracked him down through the race organisers

Dude. It happened so fast. He was number 10xx and covered in mud. Wind was howling too. I've already emailed the organisers. :blue-biggrin:

Sorry to change the subject, how is the water levels at Eikenhof currently?

It's very low and the fish have buggered off to wherever they go at this time of year.
You can walk right around the lake. Wesselsgat is dry. We fished from 9am to 3pm and walked 6km. Got 1 hit.

4 of us using fly tackle fishing hard. Wind was pretty bad too.
