Good afternoon guys

I must say that as a relatively new bass angler i absolutely LOVE the MTP, I think it is a fantastic concept that Rory and his staff have put a lot of time and effort and even research into.
This concept has only been running for 2 months, first month was a "trial by error" to iron out all the faults but everyone seemed happy, as I know I was. The MTP is great for beginners that never know what to buy as there is so many baits out there and it gives the novice a chance to fish baits that he would not normally buy for himself, I think the MTP will only get better as the time goes on, you can never please everyone, that is impossible, even if you try your best!!! So if this MTP is not for you or you think its a waste of money then the solution is simple, dont order the next month.... Then no one will be upset and everyone can live in peace.

Just my 2 cents worth
Hope i didn't offended anyone, that was not my intention at all
My biggest worry is that my wife (when I’m dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.”

Well I guess the feedback from a happy customer and a major industry player are enough to silence the critics....let's leave it at that then....

Next order deadline 31st MARCH 2015....

Rory,

You are in a fortunate position to have this platform to get first hand feedback on your product and service. You should soak it up, process it and take the best out of it to improve on what is already a great idea. I read through all the comments and did not see anyone criticising you or the product or the concept.

Once again, I wish you all the best with it.

Well said Ninja. For a minute there I thought I was been being criticised for being a critic whereas that is not the case.

As a repeat order I am very happy with the contents of the MTP. There are baits in both packs that I would probably have never bought because Im stuck in my ways but because I had them, I used them and caught fish. Now Im not saying that Im converted to those baits but I will remember them as an alternative. Same with the heavy cover hooks, now that I have them I will use them.

I have watched a few videos of the USA guys (mainly Flukemaster Reviews on youtube) so I knew what it was all about and personally I think we are better off. Yes we pay more for ours but we also get more. Yes they get a hardbait (crank, spinnerbait or topwater) like we do but when it comes to the plastic and hooks they don’t get a full pack. From what I remember the one video that I watched they got half a pack of plastics (3 or 4) and 2 hooks. The USA is more of a mystery sample pack.

There are still quite a few brands that haven’t seen the light and jumped on the wagon as yet so the MTP can only get better.

I won't be ordering your MTP, as I think I've got a pretty good idea by now what to do with my lure selection, prefer to do my own research and selection. I already got a black box full of lures I don't use.

But in spirit, I am supporting your initiative.

I'm surprised that most criticism came from other experienced anglers.

I think your MTP is a great idea, especially for new comers. I remember when I started I did not have the opportunity to test out different lures and it was trail by luck most of the time (come to think of it, sometimes it still is, hehe).

Good luck with your venture, I'm sure you'll be having more positive responses than negative, as you are helping the (new) guys, introducing them to something else.

Case in point for me, I was introduced to BBB triple tail and BBB twin tail grubs because of sponsored packages I received in the MT and KBT over time. Both lures gave me success since. You doing it in another way.

And you can not compare the SA market with what you get in USA, that is just silly.

You know Rory, I dont know you that well, but as old Ninja tunes, this is a great platform to "fine-tune" your concept and get it running like a well oiled machine.

I do think this is a great idea, it is not for me, as I am happy with my current mini fishing tackle shop I have at home.

But here is a comment that I must make, your attitude towards invaluable info ( yes, the criticisms)is poor in my opinion. Instead of putting your defensive cap on and retaliating with wise cracks and arrogant comebacks, take it on board boet...

Anyways, that is all I have to say, good luck with the venture china!

Thanks Shamwari, point noted. Perhaps reread through all of the above and look at it from another perspective. While constructive criticism is highly appreciated ( as I said more than once in my replies ), those who comment for the sake of making a post are not. If half the energy spent on this forum was channeled into doing something positive for OUR sport things would be different. Just a thought.

Now that is just a kak thought. I tell you what you should rather think about and that is loosing nearly 50% of your customers in the first month of your business.

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback Ninja. Fortunately the first month has come and gone and that was not the case. Maybe I should type this again....read it slowly this time....If half the energy spent on this forum was channeled into doing something positive for OUR sport things would be different. Yep I think this has gone far enough now there is constructive criticism and then there is this, I think its time to end this thread.

Enough has been said I am sure Rory will take the good advice and work with it !!
