Good morning, and I mean GOOD morning to all.

I have just moved back to Port Elizabeth after staying in Saldanha Bay for just over a year. No offence to anyone living in the area but there is no comparison for shear convenience and number of places to fish. I fished Settlers dam a few weeks ago and it was like a starving man released at a buffet and proceeded to make a pig of myself. Turned out to be a great buffet as the fishing was really good. I put more than 5 fish in the boat over 1 kg with the biggest at 1.8 kg. My partner dropped a fish of +/- 2.5 kg and I have heard that there are fish over 3 kg being caught. Well needless to say I have renewed appreciation for all the fishing (fresh and salt) we have available in the Eastern Cape.

Cheers
Lefty
