Bank fishing Theewaters, advice?

Hi all,

Recently moved to CT and planning on going to Theewaters on Monday morning 14th Sept by myself.
Im just going to do bank fishing and heard that its good around the yacht club, just want to confirm that with any of you? Also is it safe around there?

I would say just go to kwaggaskloof. Theewaters can be a challenge even with a boat.

For what it's worth I feel the exact opposite! I can get my head around TWK and have had great days there but I still struggle with QWK.

That being said, TWK is not going to be easy/productive off the bank and there is zero safe parking at the bits that might produce.

So stick to the yacht-club bay and from the slip fish the rocky point immediately left (under the flag shed thing!). Once done go right into the bay. The small bay 300m from the slip (in front of the permanent caravans) has produced in the past.

Good luck, it might be tough but you might also catch a bus!
