Setting up for September/Spawn Season. Needs tips on Breede River location and lures - JPSlabber - 06-05-2018 Hi Forum, As my thread title. I've packed my rods away for the winter (I don't do too well in Winter) and will be preparing my gear for Spawn Season/September. My main focus will be on the Breede River and surroundings. I will be armed with a float - Namely the "Froggy Mudbug Float Tube"  from Float Tubes.co.za I've seen numerous reports of Bassing in the Bonnievale region on the Breede River and would appreciate some tips and spots on where to float about. Also, what lure types and color would be recommended for this river as well as what would work the best for spawning bass (reaction lures like buzz baits?) Also, if there is anyone else that regularly fishes these spots, please PM me. Would pay to go on a trip with someone to show me the ropes. Thanks!
