Cold Front WC - Frogstar - 02-19-2009
I suppose this CF is gonna mess around with the fishing tomorrow here in the Western Cape?
What do you locals reckon?
- Bassassin - 02-19-2009
I missed last weekend because I had flu, I'll be on the water even if it snows.
Bassassin and Ms Bassassin are planning to head to Theewaters early on Saturday, fish for the day, camp there for the night and fish Sunday morning. We would be happy to see other BFSA'ers so anybody is welcome and invited to join us.

Frogstar, no CF's in summer, only less-hot fronts.Today you will kill smallies at Kwaggas, overcast, water temp 27 C ,baro 1015. Elna landed in hospital this morning, will be operated on today so I have to ask her if I can go fishing tomorrow.

Yip, I agree with CBC. The cold front will help fishing on the weekend not kill it... we should also start getting a few more fronts coming through from now on so the fishing should improve from now until winter...

if my boat is ready, i might consider theewaters.
will let u know.

Good to see you doing your skippers even though you don't need it with a 15hp.
I also have to get mind as at some time ( in the future) I will have a bigger motor.
I phoned SAMSA and was quite shock to hear with a 15hp you need nothing, even if your boat is 10m long, no COC no COF no buoyancy nothing.
A question I do have is with the skipper is it for life or like you drivers license do you keep having to pay up every few years.

Thanks CBC, Hope it's not serious and that it goes well.

One thing Ive learned from fishing smallies at ebenezer is that hey love the PINK FLUKE when the cold front(especially the less warm fronts) hit.
Maybe, just maybe kwaggas will see me again this weekend :blue-biggrin:
