Hi Alfie
there is a launch at the yacht club and by the water affairs at the dam wall as far as I can remember. either side of the dam wall is good along the weedline. the point at the yacht club is a very good spot as it drops rapidly on either end. and then junior nationals in 2010 was won on the point of the bay on the right of the map before the dam turns left to the river section. I found that boat docks hold fish too
Lures are cranks in with a whiteish tinge and mojo rigged daminki flukes in watermelon Chartruse their tails as well as greenpumpkin senkos on a mojo.
Hope this helps a bit, im sure some of the local guys might know some other things i dont.

We are pre-fishing vygies this weekend, you can never go wrong with any fluke variants, poppers and spooks, and the old faithful white/chartreuse tandem spinnerbait works a real treat especially for quality fish in numbers...cranks especially rattletraps in shades of white have accounted for some really good fish...the river section is where most of our bigger fish come from, just put your trolling motor on low/high gear and bash the cr@p out of the bank with the spinnerbop...really good fun to be had indeed...
