Well, I've been fishing since the day I could remember. Grew up in Klerksdorp so a regular papgooier. Bought my first bass rod last week and will now go try out the spots around Gauteng for starters. I just sold my house in Edenglen, 1km away from the Deck! Used to go eat and have a couple of cold ones there often!!

I'm 32, married, own my own company and live in Parktown North until we find a house in Edenvale to buy. So if you see a 1967 red Jeep wagoneer with V8 driving around, hoot and wave!! 8)

My name is Rob Fisher, I'm 50 (the oldest it seems), I live in Everton which is between Kloof and Hillcrest in KZN, I'm in the internet and mobile technology buisness having been an ISP in the glory days 10 years ago... sold the ISP business and now run a few web sites and develop mobile technology (SMS, MMS, LBS etc).

New to Bass Fishing (6 months)... bummed rides on a few boats but spent the last 6 months standing on the sides of dams... just taken delivery of my own Bass Boat (Rebel 532 Sport) and enjoying the sport in a big way!

Hi Pomerob, Well my log book is at home but let me see? Albert Falls (5 hours and 5 fish). Inanda Dam (7 hours and 6 fish) and Saturday at Inanda (5 hours and 2 fish). 1.3 hours per fish so my averages can only go up from here! ;-)

Hehehe... and the pun is pardoned. ;-) Now I just need to nail a few that size from the boat instead of on the side of a little private dam!

G'day all,
Just came across this forum & joined today. Haven't had time to troll through it all, but it looks like it's full of great info and will be a great reference.
34 years old.
Born and raised quite a bit further north than most of you - Athi River, Kenya.
Not enough dams here stocked with bass, but almost enough to keep me happy. Luckily have some nice bassing in a couple of farm ponds on my doorstep!
Been fishing for as long as I can remember.

Howzit Dangaboy, must know you if you spent some time at the deck. How's that new rod of yours?? Any luck with a house in Edenvale?
