Hi All.

Planning a trip to SA in a few months and was wondering where the best bass fishing is? I would also like some advice on some good local tackle shops - preferably ones that have an online presence.

Ones that have boat rentals or guide services are also good Smile

Thanks,
Simon

I appreciate your kind offer. I am not sure where I will be staying yet. It all depends on if my girlfriend can get the time off work. We are also planning on a stop over in Australia and we need about four weeks.

Thanks, I will. I am a huge fan of bass. I am trying to learn as much as I can about every species of bass out there. I recently published a site on bass. I still think there are a few out there that I don't have covered yet, but its a good way to spend free time.

Very interesting site you have there bassfishing-gurus, I didn't know there where that many different species of bass out there. I see you also a apple mac fan. Welcome to the site.

The only guide I know of is Lionel Crow based at Inanda dam, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Maybe others on the site know of more.
The more I learn about fishing the more I realise
how much more I have to learn about fishing.
