Hey Drew,

I'll always be glad to chip in where I can. Will get used to how things happen around here soon enough. At the moment I mostly just enjoy what I read! As far as "hacking" goes, no-one knows everything, and we've all got a lot to learn! Consistency is the name of the game.

Easier said than done. I constantly try to be consistent but constantly fail, hey there may be some consistency here after all

Fab, there is a lot of good info shared here. The best environment to learn about new baits or tactics is one where people talk freely, and that appears to happen here.
Deon, my 5.2kg pb was in 2001, so is pretty old news to post now! Still got to learn how to do that anyway. Those 2 fish in my avatar were 8lb and 8.65lb, caught 2 months ago at Mayfair in Zim, fishing Natal vs Matabeleland. The following day I also got a 9 lb'er. Great place to fish - first day bag 27+ lb, second day 18+ lb bag!
If you like, I'll try to submit some photo's.

Cheers
Wayne

I know you from looking at lots of photos of big fish with the name Wayne Tarr attached to it. I'm sure I've seen the photo of your PB as well, but may be mistaken. Was it Inanda or somewhere in Zim?

Drew, my pb was at Mteri up in Zim. Caught it about 1/2 an hr after a 4.3kg, fishing a Texas rigged Brush Hog in trees in 20ft of water. My record of big fish in Inanda and Alberts is not the greatest!
