Bilge pump in Livewell. Who can help?

Hi Everyone,

Who will be able to assist near Pretoria Area- I want to ad a function whereby I can pump out water from my live well at any time- My current REBEL 531 EVO II don't have that installed in live well and I can only drain the water once I`m done fishing for the day on the trailer.

Please advise if possible.

There are two ways you can do this.First way is to cut a hole in the base of your two livewells (I assume you have seperate wells and not one large divided one)and install a 500 gph pump through this hole and lock it down with a strainer with similar thread as that of the pump threaded tube.You then have to wire this up to the dash switch cluster and cut another hole on the gunwale next to the bilge exit,fit a skin fitting to this hole that takes the same diameter hose as the pump does.If you are having to cut through gelcoat with a hole saw,run it in reverse until you have penetrated the gelcoat layer,then run conventionally...this will eliminate gel coat cracking.
The other method,which does eliminate the need to cut a hole in the live wells is to purchase from Rule, an Aerator/Pump Out nozzle.This really great sprayer bar acts as an aerator when you are in circulate mode,then you pull the spray bar forward which then uses the existing aerator pump to pump the live well dry.With both systems you will have to cut a hole to accept a skin fitting as the exit.

Always good info from you thanks. It was bought by Andre Develiers late in 2011- Its realy a very nice upgrade to the older version and I enjoy it very much.
