Tips on fishing Mofam for the first time

Hi guys

Booked my boat at Mofam for tomorrow morning, can't fish the entire day due to some activities with the misses. Can you please give me some tips on fishing Mofam, lures and all and all. It will be my first outing there and I would want it to be a good one.

All the tips would help.

Hi Knaap,

In the morning top water is always a good bet for some excitement.

Senkos and grubs work well, junebug and greenpumpkin.

As for cranks try a lavendershad type colour or a bright yellow/chartruese has worked ofr me.

I'd also head left (down stream) because of your limited time there.

Check out a few of the reports there have been a few recently.

From the reports it seems like I just have to cast my line :blue-biggrin: , will try the cranks and will inform you on my results.

That sounds about right. They do like a dead sticked bait.

I forgot the jig bite there some days can be insane.

Im heading there in Sunday.
