The ultimate rod stand

This rod stand is one of a couple of options...can hold 60 rods without the reels and 30 with the reels...

It is mounted against the wall...
the front and back section is connected using a hinge...
with a wheel under the front section to support it when loaded.
the back section is ideal for all those extra rods which are hardly used or as in my case for my grunter rods...fly rods and drop shot rods.

I have just supplied a ski boat fisherman with a pile of stands for his ski boat rods...we made a small mod...instead of fitting the small slots at the top I use the 40 mm slots...which fits the ski boat rods perfect.

I don't have a spare wall in my workshop to mount it so I just made a plan for the pic.

Price...not sure yet just finished building it.

Been thinking of a name for the rod stands...looking at my avatar...I think customs racks would be an appropriate name

Ninja...at one stage this unit would have just been big enough...for my 25 bass rods with reels...used for comp fishing...but at the moment I don't even fill the front row of a standard unit

Price about R800 ...there are going to be 2 different models...1 with a deep back so you can fit a double layer on the back section and front (60 rods without reels)... a shallow one which will only take a single layer at the back and a double in the front (45 rods without reels) or you can get the 50 mm hole unit which will take a pile of rods loose in the holes.
