Breakfast before launching, normally 2 wheetbix with milk. Water all day and maybe a samie or some biltong. Anything else is a distraction and can wait till afterwards!

I balance one knee on the motor? the other foot out to the left and that way I don?t pee on the boat or myself? and I check the wind direction to make sure the wind is hitting from behind. ;-)

6-10 beers (it's a long day), a bag of crisps, zoo biscuits and at least four meat rolls. Some water. Fab don't forget the graze for Sunday boet!

Pack of ice in the cooler box, six Hansas, 2l Coke, 6 hot dogs and a packet of chips......most of which are only consumed on the way back home. It is just amazing how 4 to 6 hours fly past whithout eating or drinking anything! Fishing feed the soul and mind :wink:

Then I normally make chicken sammies with woolies roasted chicken and Nando's sweet chilli sauce.... Big Grin

Occationally i hijack one of Millpond or Drews beers if it is reaaallyy hot.... Millpond.... What beers you taking on sunday??? Now you know what's on the menu for lunch boet!!! lmao.... :roll: :wink:

I usually make two bottles of a meal replacement protien drink which I freeze and then drink during the day. Keeps you feeling full, whilst still providing all the necessary nutrition.

Smoke and smoke - I have practiced to smoke a whole cigarette without taking it out my mouth as both hands are always busy.

No dop on my boat, even if you are a passenger. Seen far too many accidents or near disasters as a result - some okes cannot spell moderation :evil:

It seems that alot of you smoke on the water and only 2 replied back to say what they did with their stompies, sies man!
Then there is the wizzing in the water, some do it in bottles ,this is the right way.
A dude i know had a pee in theewaters once, off his boat and this ou toppie and his wife saw him , they reported him to cape nature conservation and he got in k.k
I have seen people despose of fishing line on the water, after a nice kraaines, they respool and throw it in the water, this sux Sad

, i put mine in a bag , what do you all do ?

I most certainly don?t throw old line overboard? I have a dustbin on the boat and all packets old line, empty bottles and old plastics etc go into the bin? the stompies and pee go overboard. :-( Yip I know the stompies should go into a tin? and I will take one tomorrow? but peeing in a bottle and keeping it? I think not?

Well, the line issue is an absolute attrocity!!!!! If I saw that I'd probably get physical and call the rob rob and rob and Millpond and drew back up crew to teach said individual that it is a practice very harshly frowned upon and we wont tolerate it!!!! DISGUSTING!!!! Probably will organise a 7' dinger flogging!!!!

Take it home, put it in an envelope and burn it!!! That way it melts into a ball and doesn't end up snagging a bird at the rubbish dump either!!!!

As for the wizzing...... 100ml into 203 million cubic litres..... Pls...... You do more damage with your outboard than with that.... I'm fortunate in that I have a very strong bladder and very very very seldom have to relieve myself while on the water, but, when my fuuushing partners do, I don't raise an eyebrow!!!!

Did they pull out a law book and show him where he was contravening some kind of law or act??? There are waaaaay more serious issues to worry about that threaten our waters than a cpl of fisherman taking a leak in a huuuuuuuuggge dam!!!!

Sewage works overflowing into dams, factories not controlling effluent going off site, locals and illegal netting in dams.... The list goes on and on.... The cows grazing on the edge of the banks take a leak..... Siss.... tell those toppies to go tell that official that the cow just had a wiz 10X the volume of the fishermans and c what he does!!! Ppl need to get lives and worry about the serious issues, not the petty ones!!!! Maybe they got offended because they saw his shlong and not the wizz issue....???

Tolla, don't get me wrong!!!! THIS IS BY NO MEANS A DIG AT YOU AT ALL!!!!! It just gets up my nose when ppl start on anglers because they're an easy target instead of focusing on major things that if they manage to make an dent in those areas, are major beneficial impacts on the dams!!!!

Pee in a bottle... I don't think so.... have a pee at 6 in the morning and keep it in an open bottle in the heat and sun for the entire day till you get off the water at 5 and possibly have it spill in the boat..... I don't think so!!! :wink:

In a bottle is propably the worst idea ever as said
before such a minimal amount in such a huge dam aint goona have no effect.

Now line is a definate no no, especially for the other wildlife
mostly the birds,ive seen a bird or two before with fishing line
tangled around their legs and they do eventually tangle up worse
and eventually die. Cry

hey fab,i agree with you that to pee in the water is nothing, i just typed what my buddy told me, ek het gelag!
Bru why would any body keep p.. in a open bottle, dis k.k soek!?
Fab i am not here to give any body k.k, just here to remind us all that whe have to cleen up behind ourselves.

Take Albert falls classic, 300 boats(might be wrong on the number of boats), 2 fisherman per boat, if half smoke a packet on the water per day,plus oil and petrol spills , pee in the water, fishing line and other rubbish, this makes a inpact on the water.
i know you get sewage spills and cows p...ng in the water, but this does not mean that if they do it , so should we.

Hey fab, a pal of mine sven hilland, he use to live in natal and fished inanda (i think) one wind swept day, he pulled in to a bay that the wind was blowing into.There was loads of rubbish in the back of the bay, he noticed that there were human turds floating in the water, he caught 3 fish from that turd spot, so i might be wrong to say that all this junk will make a difference.
