Winter Fishing

I heard that bass fishing dies down a bit in winter, is this at all true and if not, what techniques are recomended? I can't imagine anyhthing changing in Durbs as i've lived there and know that there's no such thing as winter there but what about the Cape? (Lord, please don't take my fishing away from me this winter as i don't know what i'd do without it, Amen)

The fishing does slow down a bit but the average size is much better. Just scale down on lure size and slow down the presentation. If the weather allows, go fishing! Normally it is worth it... :blue-smile:

There is definitely no need to stop fishing in winter in the WC, see you on the water.... I'll be the guy imitating the Michelin man!! LMAO!! :blue-smile:

Isn't it true that one catches "bigger" fish in winter, but not the same quantity as in the summer? :blue-doubt: All I know is..... come rain, snow, hurricanes, tornado's etc... I wanna go foooshing! :blue-biggrin: The only thing that can stop me is the WIFE... :blue-mad:
