Which lure I throw 1st

It would be interesting to know which lure gets thrown first by our members when hitting the water, my favourites, in order of preference are:

1). Crankbait
2). Spinnerbait
3). Soft plastic
4). Top water

2. Dinger or Senko
3. Fluke
4. Creature Bait

But after hunting smallies with a Rattletrap I may just start with a shallow crank in the shallows if Howie doesn’t. But I always like to lob a Froggie into the shallows and or grass first thing in the morning!

2) Texas rigged Deadringer (Junebug)
3) Finesse rigged Senko (Black and Junebug)
4) Spinnerbait

The season is busy changing and the fishing is getting tougher...

1. 6" dead ringer - junebug or watermelon green (depending on water and cloud conditions) (My confidence worm)
2. Golden floating rapala shallow runner (my confidence crankbait)
3. Bagleys small fry shad
4. Heddon lucky 13 (Can be run below surface or as surface popper - awesome versatility)
5. Fluke or lizard
6. Dying flutter (Probably the best surface lure in existence)

Seldom:
Trick worms - only seem to work for me on spawning bass fished weightless

Never:
Spinner bait - in 28 years have never caught a fish, let alone a bass on one....note have caught on buzz bait, in-line spinner...just never spinnerbait ...(maybe I need help )

3. Crankbait/Lipless
4. Mojo Plastic
5. Spinnerbait

2. Jerkbait
3. Lipless Crank
4. Dinger

Then follow up with:

As I get closer.

Get KVD's DVD on Spinnerbait. I also thought how the hell can such an ugly thing catch fish.
In my first outing after watching the dvd, I caught 3 fish in 10 casts and many more since, including my PB

I just can’t get to believe in the Spinnerbait… it’s one of those baits I keep buying but never use… I have never caught on a Spinnerbait in a real dam… but did catch 3 dinkies in a local private dam. There is just not enough time to go fishing and try new things!

I think dead sticking would be in place number 5 and place number 12 would have to be wacky, but then again I think that place number 9 should be in place number 7 and place number 2 should change place with number 3. but I like useing Senko's :blue-smile:
