Aish.... check the amount of answers you got to that one hey Andrer....

Guys do use braid for normal fishing applications but remember one thing.... Braid is not as smooth as conventional lines and tends to be a bit harsh on your rod guides...

Shannon and Fishton are quite knowledgable on the lines, as is pomerob as he uses it.... Maybe they can fill you in on the pro's and cons to using it!!!! Wink

Braid has no stretch and is thus more sensitive. I use braid for my crankbaits so I can straighten the hooks when snagged instead of losing the crank!! The fish still take the bait, maybe they don't have time to look closely and get "line shy"
