Mine is a 2005 Forester 2.5 normaly aspirated but with low range which helps with getting off the clutch quicker and with tricky slipsways.

Ground clearance is not as high as some of the newer models so you have to be careful when you launch the boat and the angle is not steep enough or the boat sits a bit higher on the trailer.

Had no issues towing my Spash Bass and so far is handling the Raker X16 without any difficulty.

I would think a 17ft boat like a Rebel 532 should be about the limit but he XT has quite a bit more wooma than mine.

If the XT is an automatic it will be even better as my clutch took a bit of strain before I realised that I had to do all my slow manoevering in low range.
