Hey Bronnie

It all depends on where you are fishing and what baits you have been trying. There is never a guarantee that the same lure will work at the same time next year. The trick is to find something that entices the fish into a strike. If you are fishing the same spot as last year and it is slow it could be that it has been over fished or even some fish have been removed. Just keep trying, never give up!
Sometimes the fishing is so bad not even the liars catch anything!!!!
